sessionVista - SessionVista – Technology to survey and defend your network

SessionVista™ is a line of products designed to allow an organization to understand and defend their networks. It does this by decoding network data using Deep Packet Inspection.  This extensive metadata is packaged on a session level using IPFIX.  This is unique because it provides L2-L7 coverage of over 700 protocols and 4000 attributes.  The volume of metadata produced is 100 times less than the native line rate and therefore scales nicely to 10 Gbps networks.  This enhanced IPFIX is parsed and indexed to both a log file and a database.  Once indexed, it is available to SessionVista™ applications. These applications can then react to underlying network events. SessionVista™ is scalable to 20 Gbps and is architected to make it easy to add your own DPI based applications in a fraction of the time required to write them from scratch. For customers who require a ready to go solution, the SessionVista™ Enterprise Appliance is a stand-alone solution that comes packaged with applications including email investigator, network forensics and an application layer firewall.
